Trainmi SuperPeer Trainee Agreement
This Traineeship Agreement is a description of the arrangement between us, (Tellmi), and you (the Trainee) in relation to your Traineeship scheme. The intention of this agreement is to assure you that we appreciate your commitment with us and to indicate our promise to do the best we can to make your traineeship experience with us a positive and rewarding one.
Part 1 Tellmi
We, Tellmi, accept your participation in the training programme from the date that you complete your registration form.
Your role as a trainee is as a SuperPeer on the Tellmi app. This activity is designed to ensure that all our users get good support and that no one is left out. There are no fees required to take part in this programme and your participation is acknowledged to be voluntary.
We commit to the following:
1. Induction and training
To provide thorough induction on the work of Tellmi, its staff, your trainee role and the training necessary to assist you in meeting the responsibilities of your trainee role.
2. Supervision, support and flexibility
To define appropriate standards of our services, to communicate them to you, and to encourage and support you to achieve and maintain them as part of your traineeship.
To provide a personal team leader who will meet with you regularly to discuss your traineeship and any associated problems.
To do our best to help you develop your trainee role with us and to be flexible in how we use your traineeship.
4. Wellbeing
To provide adequate support for your wellbeing, in particular any adverse effects that you might experience while performing your duties as a SuperPeer.
5. Insurance
To provide adequate insurance cover for trainees whilst undertaking training work approved and authorised by us.
6. Equal opportunities
To ensure that all trainees are dealt with on an equal basis.
7. Problems
To endeavour to resolve in a fair and just manner any problems, grievances or difficulties which may be encountered while you work with us;
In the event of an unresolved problem, to offer an opportunity to discuss the issues with your team or hub lead.
8. Personal data
Your name, email address, phone number and date of birth are held for as long as you are a trainee with us.
When you leave or are deemed inactive, your phone number, email and date of birth will be removed from our trainee records within 14 days of this date.
The only exception to this is your email is held with Slack even when the account is deactivated and we request for data deletion twice a year.
Your name will be retained on record for 6 years from the date of departure so that we are able to provide a reference if asked and to adhere to safer recruitment practices.
For data held on the app when you create an account, this is different and you abide by the privacy policy of the app when signing up, you can see more here; tellmi.help/privacy-policy but in a nutshell, if you wish for your personally identifiable information to be removed, you must close your own account.
Part 2 The trainee
I, the trainee, agree to be a trainee with Tellmi and commit to the following:
To help Tellmi as a SuperPeer trainee.
To perform my trainee role to the best of my ability.
To adhere to the organisation’s rules, procedures and standards, including health and safety procedures and its equal opportunities policy in relation to its staff, trainees and users.
To maintain the confidential information of the organisation and of its clients;
to be mindful that the people you engage with on the app are real human beings and discussion about users of the app should not be spoken about freely with people outside of the Tellmi organisation.
To not share company information, namely intellectual property, with others outside the organisation. This includes but is not limited to, training materials and processes involved in being a trainee.
To never engage with a user in a way that implies you would like to form a relationship with them away from the Tellmi app - in doing so, we would consider this a safeguarding matter and your traineeship immediately terminated, this information would be disclosed in any future reference requests.
To engage in training, communication with your team lead and wellbeing surveys at Tellmi’s request to help Tellmi ensure that undertaking this traineeship scheme is not detrimental to you or the organisation.
To meet the time commitments and standards undertaken, other than in exceptional circumstances, and provide reasonable notice so that alternative arrangements can be made.
To grant Tellmi intellectual property rights to any materials created for Tellmi during the course of the trainee’s time with the company including replies left on the app.
Understand that Tellmi may decline to provide a reference for your time at Tellmi if you have not completed the whole three month scheme.
This agreement may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of either party. Neither of us intends any employment relationship to be created either now or at any time in the future.
