Getting Started with Tellmi

We’re thrilled to welcome you to the Tellmi community! We look forward to collaborating with you, your staff, and your students.

On this page, you’ll find all the resources you need to successfully launch Tellmi at your school, along with guidance on how to make the most of them. Should you have any questions or need assistance at any stage, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@tellmi.help.

  1. Brief the Staff

It’s important to brief all staff on Tellmi so that they can confidently address any questions their students may have. Below is a template email for you to send to members of staff, providing key information about Tellmi and how to signpost it to students.

You may also wish to link to this helpful video, where our co-CEO Suzi Godson takes you through some of the most commonly asked questions about Tellmi.

2. Brief the Parents

It’s important to inform parents that your school is promoting Tellmi for their children to access. Below is a template letter for parents, highlighting Tellmi’s safety features and explaining how Tellmi can support their child’s mental health and wellbeing.

You may also wish to link to this video, which gives useful information on how Tellmi works.

3. Brief the Students

Here are a few useful videos and a slideshow you can show in form times, assemblies, or when sharing information with students on how to use Tellmi and its mental health benefits. Feel free to select the videos that best suit the age group of your students.

If you have ordered compliment cards from the Tellmi Shop, please hand these out to students and encourage them to download Tellmi using the QR code on the back of the card or access the web app at www.tellmi.app.

You can also email your students to tell them about Tellmi and how they can access it. Feel free to use this suggested text.

4. Order Free Resources

From transition booklets to absentee packs, stickers to QR code cards, the Tellmi Shop has everything you need to promote Tellmi in your setting and support your community. You can even book our popular workshops!

5. Ongoing Marketing

We strongly encourage you to feature Tellmi on your website, intranet, and social media platforms. To assist you, we’ve provided template text and images below that you can easily incorporate into your communications.
