*Coming Soon*: Tellmi - Digital Safety Workshop
Duration: 1 hour
Number of Participants: Up to 30
For this workshop, it is essential that participants have access to a device (e.g. laptop, tablet, or smartphone).
Empower young people to thrive online with our Digital Safety Workshop.
Our workshop goes beyond traditional online safety topics, such as passwords and phishing, to address the real-world mental health challenges of navigating today’s online landscape. In our interactive sessions, we cover:
Tackling Toxic Feeds: Understanding how exposure to negative content can impact wellbeing.
The Algorithm Trap: Exploring the design techniques platforms use to keep users endlessly scrolling
Comparison Is A Thief of Joy: Discussing how curated "perfect" lives create pressure and strategies for managing comparisons.
The AI Concern: Investigating the risks associated with using AI for mental health support, including data privacy issues and the potential for misleading advice.
Participants will leave with actionable tips for curating a healthier online feed, discovering positive online spaces, and protecting their mental health. We will also explore how platforms like Tellmi can enhance their online experiences.
The workshop can be tailored for individual classes or entire year groups. Our facilitators are DBS checked and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in psychology, education, and working with young people.
Free products are only available to organisations in areas where Tellmi is commissioned. If you are not from a commissioned area, please get in touch.
While we aren't accepting bookings just yet, if you're interested, please add this workshop to your order. We will notify you as soon as we officially launch.
